The situation

Our client, a Global Market Access and HEOR consultancy with a small headcount was looking to quickly scale; they wanted to double their health economics team within one year to meet the large demand of work within this area.

The company wanted to bring onboard an innovative and technically gifted Health Economist who had the capabilities to develop into a true leader within the business as Head of Health Economics and Outcomes Research.

Being a smaller name within the industry, they had struggled with their search to find the right type of candidate. They were limited to their using mainly their own contact book alongside another agency, but delays in the process were becoming apparent and it was starting to hamper their expansion plans. That’s where Hobson Prior came in.
