Hobson Prior is seeking a Technician Quality Control to join a dynamic team in Leiden, Netherlands. In this role, you will focus on testing products and materials using advanced analytical and microbiological techniques. You will also support laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is a full-time, onsite position requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to quality control processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing of products, materials, and environmental samples using techniques like Flow Cytometry, ELISA, and PCR.
• Support method validation, transfers, and qualification processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Contribute to the efficient operation of a GMP-compliant laboratory.
• Participate in investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage critical reagents and supplies for daily activities.
• Act as a point of contact for lab practices and documentation.
• Write and update work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
• Practical experience with Flow Cytometry, cell-based assays, and PCR.
• Familiarity with microbiological methods is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work shifts and be onsite five days a week in Leiden.
