Hobson Prior are looking for an Anti-falsified Medicines Chemometrician to join a fantastic pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on offering novel treatments that acknowledge the developing requirements of people and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, to comprehend the requirements, suggested developments and arrange prognostic analytics across various platforms, you will cooperate with business associates.
  • Sponsor the division aligned with the international security method by serving as a delegate for international security as a trusting and authentic business associate that offers necessary value-added services.
  • You will guide the delivery cost-effective and inclusive outcomes for pharmaceutical intelligence gathering operations.
  • To highlight criminal patterns, signs or modus operandi to influence anti-counterfeiting inquiries of associated cases by data analysis and mining, you will conduct evidence outlining from pharmaceutical and forensic examinations.
  • Collaborate with anti-falsified medicines director to be in line with actions and guarantee they are linked with the authentifield by the company's tactic.
  • The ideal candidate will plan detailed reports to handover knowledge and placate governance and regulatory apprehensions.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to an advanced degree level in a chemometrics, chemical engineering, industrial statistics or similar discipline; or relevant experience with a background in spectroscopy data analysis, multivariate statistics, Design of Experiments, process optimisation and Analytical approaches qualification; or corresponding education with experience in the pharmaceutical business.
  • Fluency in the English language with knowledge in another language would be advantageous but not essential.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical organisation or any other with a focus on implemented data science in analytical chemistry, forensic sciences, as well as machine learning development and execution.
  • Computer literacy with programming/analytical tools such as Python, R, SASA, Matlab, etc.
  • Know-how in data modelling and machine learning techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, recommender systems, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
  • Capable of cleaning and processing data both structured and unstructured.
  • Able to use data querying tools such as SQL, DB2, Hive, Pig etc.
  • Familiarity with vibrational spectroscopy such as NIR, FTIR, Raman, etc., as well as operational familiarity which involves manufacturing, forensic, QA/QC management, development or other pertinent experience such as operating at a regulatory health authority and/or law enforcement would be beneficial.
  • Acquaintance operating within a matrix setting with international, cross-functional teams.
  • Prior involvement in enunciating business queries, using mathematical techniques to reach an answer using accessible data, and deciphering technical/analysis outcomes into business commendations.
