Hobson Prior is seeking a Research Associate to join a dynamic team focused on developing new therapies for blood disorders. You will work with a collaborative group to test the effectiveness and safety of treatments using cell-based models. This role involves hands-on lab work, including cell culture and various testing techniques. This is a temporary contract position which is based in Basel, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Work with specialized mouse models for research projects.
• Conduct lab tests and analyse results using techniques like flow cytometry and qPCR.
• Handle and study different types of cells and tissues.
• Collaborate with the team to design and interpret experiments.
• Keep detailed records and share findings with the team.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute positively to the team environment.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in Life Sciences or equivalent training.
• Authorization for animal research and experience with rodents.
• Proficient in cell culture and lab testing methods.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage data effectively.
• Fluent in English with a team-oriented mindset.
• Motivated and adaptable with a proactive approach to work.
