Hobson Prior is seeking an IT-OT Engineer to join a dynamic team in Gothenburg, Sweden. This role involves connecting IT systems with operational technology in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure systems run smoothly, address technical issues, and work with various teams to meet industry standards. Immediate start required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT systems to support business and manufacturing operations.
• Provide support for equipment-related technology needs in production.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and train staff on security practices.
• Facilitate data exchange between IT and operational systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and document processes.
• Lead innovation projects and mentor junior team members.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in computer science or similar field; certifications in OT/cybersecurity are a plus.
• Proficient in IT and operational technology, especially in manufacturing settings.
• Familiarity with systems like SAP S4/HANA, Power BI, Power Automate, and MS Lists.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
