Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior QC Technician for a 6-month contract based in Leiden, Netherlands. This position will focus on carrying out testing to materials and products using various scientific methods. The successful candidate will also help with equipment maintenance and ensure the lab follows proper procedures.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine tests on samples and materials.
• Assist in transferring and validating testing methods.
• Help maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Support efficient lab operations and investigations.
• Participate in projects to improve lab processes.
• Ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Serve as a contact for lab-related questions.
• Write and update work instructions and procedures.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in life sciences or related field.
• Experience in a quality control setting is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of flow cytometry and PCR.
• Familiarity with microbiological methods is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptable and proactive approach.
• Proficient in English.
