Hobson Prior are currently working with a world-wide biopharma organisation who are helping to upscale its diagnostic testing capabilities, so that more patients can be tested for COVID-19 in Belgium. Our client is looking for a motivated Analytical Scientist who have the skills and expertise to support this important initiative.

Key Skills:

• A strong team spirit.
• Ability to adapt with agility to change.

Requirements:

• Experienced lab scientist trained to work under sterile conditions (e.g. cell cultures).
• Prior knowledge in RNA/DNA extraction procedures preferentially using Kingfisher instruments.
• Ability to use multiple pipetting devices / instruments.
• Ability to run qPCR reactions preferentially with Applied Biosystem instruments (7500 fast models).
• General and functional knowledge of English.
• A graduate or university diploma with a scientific background or equivalent experience.
• Must be currently based in Belgium.
• Logistics/sample management.
• Laboratory scientist.
• QC data review lab oversight.
