Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated MSAT Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and transferring liquid-chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) methods. This role will also involve integrating characterization LC-MS data with process/product knowledge and taking end-to-end method responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• For this role, you will develop, execute and transfer liquid-chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) methods.
• Act as an expert for LC-MS and analytical HPLC.
• Integrate characterization LC-MS data with process/product knowledge.
• Take end-to-end method responsibility, starting with method development up to method validation and transfer into a quality control organization.

Requirements

• A PhD or Master in Life Sciences or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS.
• Experience with large molecule LC-MS data interpretation (at intact or peptide levels).
• Fundamental understanding of chromatography methods and ability to use this knowledge to accelerate projects and support troubleshooting.
• Experience in method development, validation, and investigation testing/support in an analytical function.
