Hobson Prior is seeking a Mechanical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in Oderdorf, Solothurn, Switzerland. This role focuses on conducting mechanical tests to support the development and assessment of orthopedic implants and instruments. You will work closely with research and testing engineers to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various mechanical tests like fatigue, endurance, and tensile testing.
• Prepare test samples and perform experiments following given guidelines.
• Analyze data and use statistical methods to interpret results.
• Document test procedures and results clearly.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
• Communicate findings and challenges effectively with team members.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical testing and laboratory experiments.
• Technical degree in a related field.
• Proficient in English with basic understanding of German.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with data entry and computer applications.
