Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Scientist for the Automation & Assays team in the biotech field. This role focuses on processing tissue samples and supporting drug discovery programs. The position is based in Sweden and offers a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work with tissue samples using techniques to enrich cell surface proteins.
• Participate in developing new methods and assays using advanced automated tools.
• Plan and conduct experiments independently, solve problems, and report findings on time.
• Contribute to developing models to support drug projects, focusing on understanding how drugs work and identifying targets.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong skills in molecular and cellular biology, especially protein assays and sample preparation.
• Ability to design studies, perform lab work, and analyze data independently.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with proteomic analysis and automation technology is beneficial.
• Innovative approach and commitment to scientific excellence.
• Leadership skills in providing technical guidance.
