Hobson Prior are seeking for a CMC Lead Drug Substances to join a fantastic biotech establishment on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on changing the lives of people who suffer from severe illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will be responsible for drug substance CMC development actions from late stage to product licensure.
• When needed, you will handle interface with project governance committees both internally and externally.
• Guarantee that all actions are carried out to company's international quality and safety standards.
• Author/evaluate and approve of technical protocols and reports.
• Offer contributions to project feasibility and suggest alterations to assure successful accomplishment of allocated projects.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a biotech or corresponding.
• At lest 15+ years of experience in late-stage development as well as GMP production of pharmaceutical products.
• Experience with regulatory directions concerning the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control of manufacture pharmaceutical products.
• Acquaintance in project management of multifaceted technical projects which includes various internal and external shareholders.
• Prior involvement working with C(D)MO's and CLO's.
• Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French, Swedish and/or German would be advantageous.
