Hobson Prior is seeking a motivated Business Development Director to lead revenue growth and strategic partnerships across Europe. You will manage client relationships, develop accounts, and identify new market opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills in German and English and a strong understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company's values and culture.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams for long-term growth.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop new client accounts and strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to pursue business opportunities.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals.
  • Attend industry conferences to build relationships and identify leads.
  • Oversee new client coordination, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Address challenges during the proposal process.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Experience in business development within the European pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
  • Proven success in building client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with effective business strategy implementation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
