Hobson Prior is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity based in Europe. In this role, you will focus on supporting advanced manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapy. You will play a key part in transferring early-stage processes into compliant manufacturing systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for automated CAR-T manufacturing.
• Lead the transfer of processes, characterization, and validation throughout their lifecycle.
• Adapt early-stage processes into systems that meet manufacturing standards.
• Write technical reports, comparability packages, and regulatory documents.
• Work closely with teams in process development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in biotechnology, life sciences, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in process engineering or manufacturing science and technology (MSAT) within cell and gene therapy.
• Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), risk assessments, and validation strategies.
• Analytical, collaborative, and motivated to deliver impactful results for patients.
