Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Senior Bioprocessing Scientist to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on producing solutions which might have the possibility of curing those who suffer from serious illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manufacturing actions, adhering to all GMP instructions and good practices to manufacture the necessary products.
• Accountable for guiding quality issue rapid response throughout bioprocessing, and independently guiding root cause analysis investigations for all classifications of deviation.
• For this position, you will manage the assigned bioprocessing stage, serving as the site SME.
• Arrange and monitor bioprocessing scientists when on shift, deputising for team leader when needed.
• Outline training approaches for technical and assisted actions in manufacturing, supervising the quality of training implementation.
• Develop and guide quality risk assessments and change control for area of responsibility.
• Guide and prioritise continuous improvement that acknowledges recurring deviations, process yield prospects, and any other initiatives that improve the quality, safety, and eliminate waste and assure high levels of supply reliability within area of responsibility.
• You will work suitably in a clean room setting to accomplish needed level of low bioburden/aseptic operations.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific or engineering field.
• Familiarity within pharmaceutical product manufacturing.
• A background in manufacturing operations and quality systems, as well as comprehension of process development lifecycle.
• Abilities within major quality and safety procedures.
• Acquaintance with and expertise on GMP.
