Are you on the search for a new challenge in Bioprocessing? Our client is looking for a dedicated scientist to help advance the life sciences space!

Hobson Prior is seeking an Advanced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a dynamic team in the life sciences industry. In this role, you will focus on manufacturing and improving processes for producing sterile gene therapy products while adhering to high-quality standards and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge advancements in gene therapy and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manufacturing tasks to produce sterile gene therapy products following established guidelines.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure skill development and compliance with training plans.
  • Ensure all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), data integrity, and documentation standards.
  • Complete assigned documentation, such as reports and corrective actions, accurately and on time.
  • Identify and report any issues, safety risks, or areas for improvement, and assist in resolving them.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including operating in cleanrooms and performing sanitization tasks.
  • Monitor manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance processes and improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably in biologics or aseptic production.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and related compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
