Senior SAS Programmer

Hobson Prior are seeking a seasoned Senior SAS Programmer to join an brilliant pharmaceutical organization on a permanent basis located in London. Our Client is focused on dedicating their time to fighting against illnesses and pain.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will oversee and manage all programming activities within any of the clinical studies or projects that are part of the program.
• Overseeing all aspects of the programming of a clinical study.
• Collaboration with other departments across functional lines.
• Provide input into the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and other relevant materials.
• In charge of the development and maintenance of study documents within the scope of all relevant aspects of the study(s). This includes SDTM and ADaM specifications, define.xml, tables, figures and listings, and analysis sets.
• Point of contact for external vendors to resolve any issues.
• Monitor the CRO's deliverables and ensure that they meet the company's expectations.
• Make sure deliverables from external vendors are of a high quality, and ensure they are subject to quality control.

Key Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), including the ability to explain programming concepts to non-programmers, organization, presentation, and time management.
• Be able to legally work in the UK as a full-time employee.

Requirements:

• You should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, contract research organization (CRO), and medical sectors, including SDTMs, ADaMs, macro creation, and tables, figures and listings.
