This position will be required to manage the introduction of innovative thermoplastic components. This position requires hands-on involvement with injection moulding equipment and processes, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage injection moulding equipment.
• Coordinate equipment testing and approval processes.
• Collaborate with the team to test and refine plastic components.
• Provide feedback on design improvements based on performance results.
• Validate and analyse moulding processes and product performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in plastic processing or mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in injection moulding tool design and processing.
• Experience with scientific moulding strategies.
• Familiarity with software like 3D CAD, simulation tools, and statistics programs.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and GMP/GDP practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites.
• Experience in process characterization and continuous improvement.
