Hobson Prior is seeking a Staff Engineer for a permanent position in the US. This role focuses on the design and development of medical device products, specifically inhalation and injectable drug combinations. You will work onsite, applying engineering principles to create and improve product designs.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop medical device products by understanding key design elements.
• Use statistical tools and computer software like Solidworks to solve engineering challenges.
• Create precise engineering drawings using manufacturing principles.
• Choose effective tools and methods to address engineering issues.
• Support new technology evaluations and current product improvements.
• Collaborate on technical projects and write detailed reports on design changes.
• Develop and implement testing methods and design plans.
• Work closely with laboratory staff and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in engineering, particularly in product development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of US regulatory and quality standards.
