Hobson Prior is seeking a proactive and dedicated Business Development Specialist. The role involves identifying potential clients, developing market strategies and leading sales promotion events. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to improve the value proposition and identify emerging companies. The role requires daily use of SalesForce.com and a focus on staying competitive and innovative.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential clients and key decision-makers.
• Develop and implement market strategies and sales tactics.
• Lead sales promotion events such as conferences and webinars.
• Work with operational teams to improve our value proposition.
• Identify emerging companies with potential for partnership.
• Use SalesForce.com daily to track sales and market trends.
• Contribute to the Commercial Team forecast by recording future sales.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in business development or sales in the BioPharma, Pharma, Medical Device, Diagnostics, Consultancy, Outsourcing, or Investment industries.
• Ability to map new accounts and identify decision-makers and influencers.
• Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills.
• Ability to work independently from home.
• Experience in communicating with high-level professionals in client accounts.
• Proactive approach to prospecting and building a pipeline of potential clients.
• Ability to manage the entire business development process, from identifying prospects to closing sales.
• Ability to create business relationships with procurement and key buyers within client accounts.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel as required by the business.
