Hobson Prior is seeking a Lab Associate for a Technical Development team. This role involves working with cell-based and cell-free potency and identity tests for biologics in development. You'll be part of a team that ensures the quality and safety of our biopharmaceutical products, following good manufacturing practice (GMP) guidelines. Prior experience in cell-based analytics is beneficial, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out and document GMP potency tests for biologics in development.
• Plan, perform, and interpret GMP potency tests to ensure timely delivery of biologics.
• Take over new potency test methods from internal partners and existing methods.
• Maintain and qualify analytical equipment.
• Document your experiments and related activities; check and review your peer's documentation. Contribute to reports and method documents intended for internal and external partners. Ensure compliance to GMP and to Health, Safety & Environmental rules.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A technical or scientific degree or equivalent is required.
• An advanced degree in a technical, scientific or relevant discipline is desirable.
• Experience within a practical scientific role is a necessity.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
• Basic skills in German are an advantage.
