Hobson Prior is seeking a proactive and experienced individual for a R&D Director of Procurement role for a biotch company. This role involves managing a group of categories within R&D Procurement and possibly overseeing a team of Global Procurement Associate Directors. The successful candidate will be expected to lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve set goals, embodying our values and behaviours.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of a cluster of categories within R&D Procurement.
• Possibly manage activities of a group of Global Procurement Associate Directors.
• Lead, coach, and develop non-direct report team members to achieve set goals.
• Act as a role model for our Values and Behaviours.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically experience with Lab equipment, services, and supplies.
• Expertise in at least one area of Procurement or relevant R&D experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
