Hobson Prior is seeking a QA Technologist Senior Technician to join a dynamic Quality Microbiology team for a consulting assignment. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring high-quality microbiological services that directly impact pharmaceutical production and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage in laboratory work, and support operational projects while being part of a multicultural and LEAN-driven organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory work focused on product release analyses following cGMP standards.
  • Collaborate across departments and project stages to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Investigate quality deviations and draft key documents such as SOPs.
  • Participate in and lead operational projects and validation activities.
  • Represent the department during audits and inspections.
  • Perform microbiological analyses, including filtration, enrichment methods, and microorganism characterization.
  • Manufacture and control media functionality and handle special analyses linked to production or research.
  • Compile, assess, and report microbiological results.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvements using LEAN principles.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A degree in Natural Sciences (240 credits) with a focus on Microbiology, Bacteriology, or Molecular Biology.
  • Practical experience in microbiology, preferably in GMP-regulated environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Knowledge of GMP or GLP and experience in quality assurance within pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible work environment and manage laboratory tasks alongside smaller projects.
