Hobson Prior are looking for a QA Compliance Officer to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis located in Galway. Our client is focused on producing products for both medical and veterinary use.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for quality complaints programme.
• Guarantee acknowledgment of customer complaints and appropriate logging in the QMS in a timely manner.
• Assure that reports are authored and approved in the necessary timeframe.
• You will forward any affiliated Product Quality Defects to the respective Pharmacovigilance division.
• Mediating with the HPRA for product quality defects reporting.
• Evaluate / guide Process investigations / Risk Assessment Documents and guarantee any such investigations are documented suitably with pertinent corrective actions, if required.
• Assist with evaluation and approval of Compliance documents such as Deviations, SCARS and CAPAs.
• Perform Routine Quality Audits of the facility to guarantee compliance, be proactive in resolving issues which may arise.
• Responsible for performing yearly GMP training to respective GMP Areas as and when scheduled.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific-based field.
• Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting with expertise on EU GMP and US FDA Guidelines.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
