Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This position includes shift work with an additional allowance.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and promote workplace safety and environmental health practices.
- Report any issues related to safety, quality, equipment, or materials to the appropriate manager.
- Assist in introducing new products, equipment, and procedures while developing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules.
- Complete and report on employee training to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate timesheets and submit them for review weekly.
- Record and report hours worked for research and development purposes.
- Use problem-solving skills to address and resolve production challenges.
- Work closely with support teams to resolve operational issues.
- Meet daily production goals and participate in team communication.
- Ensure all training is completed efficiently and maintain compliance with training requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, adhering to a "clean as you go" policy.
- Follow all documented policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (cGDP).
- Represent the company professionally during client or regulatory interactions.
- Participate in investigations and assist in resolving any identified issues.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience working as a production operator in a GMP environment is a must.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete required documentation accurately.
- Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to participate in training and continuous improvement efforts.
- Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
