Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Manager of Statistical Programming to join a brilliant pharmaceutical corporation on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe. Our client is focused on supplying novel products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become the 'Project Lead Programmer' responsible for the oversight of the programming activities that are outsourced to the company's CRO and external vendors.
• 'Line Manager' for a small team of 4-5 Statistical Programmers.
• Manage project timeframes and deliverables and ensure the outsourced projects are aligned to meet the pre-agreed timelines, quality and compliance expectations.
• Provide guidance and trainings to the CRO Programming team, working in close collaboration with the CRO's Lead Programmer and other internal study teams including Statistics and Medical Affairs.
• Represent the Programming Team in audits and formulate responses to audit questions and findings.
• Estimated 20-30% of this position will consist of 'hands-on' programming.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• MSc Degree in Statistics, Mathematics Computer Science or related area.
• Demonstrable experience working in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industries.
• Prior experience in a 'Lead Programmer' role at a Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO.
• Knowledge of CDISC SDTM + ADaM Data Standards.
