Hobson Prior is seeking a Device Engineer to join a dedicated team. This role will focus on the selection, evaluation and implementation of primary packaging materials and combination products. The successful candidate will also provide scientific support to maintain the design of existing products and coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance and address any post-launch issues.

Responsibilities:

• Select, evaluate, and improve primary packaging materials and combination products.
• Provide scientific support for existing commercially released products.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Production, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Address post-launch support needs, including design changes, supplier-related changes, product complaints, and root cause analysis.
• Execute projects within agreed time, quality, and cost constraints.
• Develop high-level plans, schedules, resource estimates, and budgets for projects.
• Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 13485, 21CFR820 Design Control, and ISO14971 risk management.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, CROs, CMOs, and standardizing committees.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of primary packaging materials and combination products.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in regulatory standards and Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to manage projects within time, quality, and cost constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
