Hobson Prior is seeking an Associate Manager for Medical Information. This role involves managing medical information services for Asia and specific ACE countries, ensuring alignment with standard operating procedures and local regulations. The role also includes creating and updating policies, training new hires and working on strategic and operational projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross-functionally and contribute to regional/global medical information strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage medical information services, including handling medical enquiries and contact centre support.
  • Ensure services align with standard operating procedures and local regulations.
  • Create and update policies, business practices and work instructions.
  • Train new hires.
  • Work on strategic and operational projects, including overseeing the medical information database.
  • Analyse departmental metrics to identify patterns, trends and issues.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new technologies.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organisation.
  • Act as an advisor and contribute to regional and global medical information strategies.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing or Medical/Life Sciences or equivalent.
  • Proven working experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a history working with MI vendors is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of regulations regarding the dissemination of medical information, pharmaceutical industry activities, and adverse event and product quality complaint reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably Chinese.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to perform multiple tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills.
