Hobson Prior are partnering with a brilliant pharmaceutical who are currently looking for an individual to join their team on a permanent basis. The current open position is for an Associate Director TS/MS Small Molecule/Peptides. Our client is focused on making safety and quality improvements, increased productivity, and variability reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will guide the TS/MS Scientists in their area, which involves daily technical operations assistance, NPI delivery as well as constant improvement projects.
• Monitor and train small molecule TS/MS personnel.
• Manage TS/MS business procedures which involves assisting new product introduction and technology transfer, process validation, process supervision, productivity and constant improvement projects.
• Assist the graduate and postdoctoral student programme and industry representation.
• Evaluate and approve specific quality documents consistent with process needs.
• Uphold the small molecule area in a state of cGMP compliance and promptness for pre-approval inspections and regular GMP inspections by numerous regulatory agencies.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a chemistry field.
• At least 7-10 years of experience working within a cGMP setting,
• Ability in a small molecule manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing with expertise in new product introduction.
