Hobson Prior are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a growing biotech in London on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of a manufacturing warehouse shift, including ensuring the shift's adherence to SOPs and health and safety.
  • To communicate issues to the Warehouse manager or Deputy in a timely manner.
  • To be first point of contact for collaborators ensuring that CGT service and values are always met.
  • To ensure complete status hand-over to the next shift and to receive hand over from previous shift.
  • To be able to make local decisions without guidance to enable shift to complete tasks.
  • Complete all Goods-In procedures according to schedule, including inspection and safe storage of incoming of materials including patient samples.
  • Management for the storage of final product and the dispatch of final product(s) and complete all Goods-Out procedures according to schedule.
  • Movement of materials within the GMP warehouse, using both manual techniques and lifting equipment where available.
  • Utilise a range of methods in support of all activities associated with the requirements within the GMP warehouse facility.
  • Ensuring that the GMP Warehouse is kept clean, safe and well organised and that the GMP Warehouse operates to a high operational standard and complies with GMP, SOP and other regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the use of an ERP system (e.g. SAP ByDesign) for ordering and goods receipting is essential.
  • Previous experience of supervising a shift-based team.
  • Familiarity with standard life sciences laboratory materials/consumables.
  • Ability to learn and recognise specialist and non-routine lab materials/consumables.
  • Fork Lift Truck license (desirable).
  • Educated up to at least A level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a laboratory/biopharmaceutical environment would be desirable.
