Hobson Prior are seeking for a VP, Clinical Development to join a fantastic biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely ideally on the East Coast of the US. Our client is focused on developing ground-breaking remedies to treat cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will guide the evaluation, analysis and comprehension of study outcomes of study outcomes and guarantee suitable data evaluation and precise data reporting.
• Recognise study and program problems by evaluating and supervising developing clinical data linked to safety, efficiency and PK/PD.
• The ideal candidate will set the clinical method, guidance and objectives for one project which involves selection of indications and combinations to accomplish proof-of-concept and pursue registration.
• Collaborate with the project head and functional leaders for the project to convey the clinical development plan for the project.
• You will serve as the clinical lead for the project and guide the clinical method project sub-team.
• Offer medical supervision for active studies or cooperate with medical supervisor(s) to assure patient safety, study integrity and data quality.
• To discuss study data outcomes both internally and externally which involves investigators at sponsor meetings or general audiences at scientific conferences, you will develop presentations.
• Contribute to the cross-functional development leadership team.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a medical field with post-graduate training and familiarity in patient care in a pertinent discipline.
• At least 5+ years of experience with oncology drug development in a pharmaceutical organisation and/or clinical sites.
• Previous involvement with the development of immune-oncology therapeutics.
• Acquaintance with both early stage and late-stage development would be ideal.
• Capable of designing, performing, comprehending and presenting oncology clinical trials.
• Expertise on the drug development procedure from pre-clinical steps through registration and post-registration.
• Comprehension of trial design and statistics to implement expertise on the design of clinical protocols.
• Know-how of GCP, ICH regulations and present EU EMEA and US FDA guidelines.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Willing to travel for business needs up to 20% of the time.
