Hobson Prior are recruiting a Vice President Quality Assurance for a hybrid permanent position. Our client is a growing biotech with headquarters in Oxford.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global quality planning activities
• Direct, improve and maintain quality procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects to improve processes and upgrade the quality documentation system
• Establish and maintain current cross functional global quality leadership team.
• Develop or approve sanctions to change systems, guidelines, and procedures; ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Understand external regulations and standards and update actions to conform to latest versions.
• Ensure proper communication and training around quality is in place across all global facilities.
• strategize and oversee customer visits/audits; support the implementation of the customer audit program
• Oversee supply management developments, including supplier approval
• Work in close partnership with QA Leaders

Skills

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance
• Minimum of ten years' Quality Assurance experience in a pharmaceutical or Biotechnology organisation;
• Degree in a scientific subject;
• Ability to work in a fast moving organisation;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong experience of auditing suppliers
• Good knowledge of clinical trial
• Knowledge of MHRA, EMA and FDA standards
• A good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint;
