Hobson Prior are currently seeking for a Lead - Network Materials Buyer Planner R-43690 to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis with various locations in Ireland. Our client is focused on monoclonal drug substances.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this position, you will develop a network level method for safety stock and contingency planning.
• Collaborate with procurement to put in place long term contracts with key vendors to guarantee long term supply.
• Work with international procurement and manufacturing method on due diligence and sourcing actions.
• You will drive automation, system-based approach to guarantee buying planning procedure as effective as possible.
• Recognise raw resources and consumables across three sites.
• Form, uphold and drive crucial metrics/KPIs to guarantee vendors are handles in an efficient manner.
• The ideal candidate will put in place an efficient communication procedure across all functions, sites, central and vendors.
• Serve as the main point od contact between sites and vendor to align a network level demand projection and supply response which meets manufacturing and safety stock needs.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in a buying planning/purchasing role.
• Abilities in project management/business process management.
• Analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues.
