Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Technical Team Lead - R&D Veterinary & Medical to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on manufacturing treatments for the use of both human and veterinary purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will offer technical assistance to the medical and veterinary R&D analytical teams.
• Daily planning of the analytical actions and HPLC allotments.
• Responsible for the development of stability indicating strategies, such as Active Assay, Related Substances and/or Preservatives, cleaning method, etc., of the Pipeline products.
• Manage analytical method validations as well as the resolution for analytical queries.
• Evaluate and approve analytical documents such as ECP/STMs/AMT/AMV/PV protocols and any other reports.
• Provide R&D aid to Registration for responding to technical queries on dossier proposals for new products and licence maintenance.
• Accountable for acknowledging daily lab concerns connected to upkeep of machines/calibrations/general upkeep/execution of new systems, etc.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a scientific field or similar.
• Demonstrable experience in a pharmaceutical organisation within an analytical function.
• Expertise on analytical method development and validation aligned with both ICH and GMP needs.
• Know-how of using HPLC/GC and Empower Software.
• Knowledge of both cGLP and cGMP needs.
• An organised individual with the ability to manage own time efficiently.
