Hobson Prior is seeking a Technical Project Leader for a contract role based in Pratteln. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, analysis, production, and timely delivery of drug substances. They will also lead and manage all technical development and commercial manufacturing activities for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the technical activities required for the development and manufacturing of an active ingredient.
• Develop and execute the overall CMC/Product Team strategies considering all cross-functional aspects.
• Ensure the compliant implementation of the approved strategy within the Life Cycle Team and with involved third parties.

Requirements

• A background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams in pharmaceutical development and/or commercial projects.
• Expertise in drug substance development and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, quality control, and regulations governing pharmaceutical development and production.
• Experience in QbD, process validation, and registration.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical custom manufacturing market (CMO).
• Ability to negotiate, plan, and coordinate technical development and manufacturing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Leadership skills and an open personality with proven team spirit.
• Excellent English skills (oral and written).
• Ability to deliver against challenging time and quality goals.
