Software Development Engineer

Hobson Prior are currently working with an up and coming organisation focused on pioneering laser technology and diagnostic devices for Ophthalmology. Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Biel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Programming and documenting application software in accordance with the IEC 62304 guidelines.
• Development of software architecture concepts.
• Design and implement software module and integration tests.
• Planning and managing sub-projects with external service providers.

Key Skills:

• Structured way of working; responsible, self-motivated and team-compatible personality.
• Spoken and written German and English.

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science engineering from ETH / ETH or equivalent.
• Broad professional structure and interest in new developments.
• Enjoy programming with Java, C # and C ++.
• Affinity for software architecture issues.
