Senior Toxicologist Non-Clinical Pharmacology Scientist

Hobson Prior are working alongside a brilliant biotech establishment who are currently looking for an individual to join their team on a permanent basis. The opening is for a Senior Scientist - Toxicology. Our client is focused on supplying novel remedies that change the lives of those suffering from rare illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to both internal and external scientific discussions such as oral presentations, posters, publications, etc.
• The ideal candidate will offer expertise in toxicology and non-clinical pharmacology to the cross-functional teams within the projects and throughout health authority engagements.
• For this role, you will be accountable for toxicology and non-clinical pharmacology modules and sectors in regulatory papers, which involves IB, summaries for IND and IMPD, RMP, briefing documentation, etc.
• You will handle preclinical safety studies in CROs, such as design, supervise, communicate and document the safety discoveries.
• Guarantee that translational features are taken into consideration and that pre-clinical information are optimally used and incorporated into both early and late phase development plans.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a PhD level in a pertinent field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a project toxicologist role.
• Capable of handling various projects across numerous development stages simultaneously.
• Board certified, for example: DABT, or ERT which would be beneficial.
