Hobson Prior is seeking dedicated Senior Technician's in Quality Control. There are 3 openings for 12-month contract positions as well as 2 openings for 6-month contract positions. These roles focus on routine testing of products and incoming goods using various analytical and microbiological techniques. The successful candidates will also support method validation, instrument maintenance, and ensure compliance with GMP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing of samples for release, characterization, immune monitoring, incoming goods, and environmental monitoring.
• Conduct method transfer, validation, and qualification.
• Support instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain an efficient GMP laboratory.
• Participate in laboratory investigations and support laboratory deviations.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects.
• Manage the availability of critical reagents and disposables.
• Provide training to fellow QC technicians.
• Serve as a point of contact for lab practices and documentation.
• Write work instructions and SOPs.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in life sciences or another relevant field.
• Previous working history in a GMP environment within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, cell-based assays, and PCR.
• Knowledge of microbiological methods is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility with changing priorities.
• Self-driven mindset with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in English.
