Hobson Prior are working with a top Global Pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Senior Statistician to join them on a permanent basis in Uxbridge.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work together with Team Leaders and Researchers to achieve accurate experimental design, performance statistical analyses and the resultant interpretation of results.
• Provide consultation to customers for new projects to advise on strategy, building and maintaining solid customer relationships.
• Represent as the Statistics team's representative to cross-functional and customer meetings to aid non-Statistician knowledge of statistical concepts.
• Perform the role of 'Project Lead', when required, managing project timelines and resourcing issues to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project milestones.

Key Skills:

• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate statistical methods and terminology to non-Statisticians.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills in a cross functional environment.

Requirements:

• PhD (preferred) or MSc Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related.
• Extensive experience within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech sectors.
• Knowledge of programming within SAS or R.
• Experience of Bayesian is highly desirable.
