Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join a biologics-focused team in Foster City. In this role, you will support and lead sourcing and supplier management activities, ensuring smooth procurement processes and supplier relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities:

• Support or lead sourcing and supplier management projects, including contract negotiations and supplier selection.
• Manage processes such as contract management, supplier performance tracking, and RFP (Request for Proposal) preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Technical Development) to prepare and review supplier proposals.
• Negotiate agreements, including confidentiality contracts, service agreements, and work orders.
• Oversee procurement tasks such as purchase order placement and inventory management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in procurement or supply chain within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with managing suppliers and manufacturing service providers.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and strong computer skills.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical development processes and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

Compensation:

• $60.00 - 66.66 Per Hour
