Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions for a large-scale sensor data platform used in clinical trials. This role involves creating system architectures, overseeing their execution, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation. The platform processes high-frequency sensor data, enabling ingestion, storage, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Create architecture documents, diagrams, and migration plans.
• Develop and test prototypes using Python and cloud-based tools.
• Design and optimize APIs for integration and scalability.
• Plan and document strategies for migrating systems and data.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Leverage AWS services to design and validate cloud-based solutions.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation of all designs and processes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in designing and implementing technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and prototyping.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with API design and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with data and system migrations.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams to guide implementation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
• (Preferred) Exposure to regulated environments such as SaMD or CSV.
