Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Scientist to establish robust drug product manufacturing processes for various development phases. The role involves defining and selecting manufacturing processes for clinical manufacture, collaborating with external teams, and supporting the development and implementation of the DP CMC development strategy. The successful candidate will also represent the DP development project team on the TST and support the definition of DP processes for different types of formulation.

Key Responsibilities

• For this role, you will establish robust, fit-for-purpose biological manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products.
• Define and select pharmaceutical product manufacturing processes and parameters for clinical manufacture.
• Collaborate closely with the External DP Clinical Manufacturing Team.
• Support the development and implementation of the DP CMC development strategy.
• Represent the DP development project team on the TST.
• Support the definition of DP processes for different types of formulation.

Requirements

• Immediate readiness to start.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• In-depth experience in sterile drug product development and/or manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Good knowledge and technical experience in parenteral liquid drug product development and cGMP manufacturing under aseptic conditions.
• Good technical knowledge of sterile DP development covering DP components, process transfer, scale, and optimization.
• Understanding of the issues and challenges of product development at phase 1.
• Knowledge in primary packaging and regulatory requirement is an advantage.
