Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Scientist for our QC Biochemistry team. This role focuses on performing and reviewing chemistry and biochemistry product tests, managing test schedules for plants and stability studies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and review tests on samples.
• Manage the schedule for testing and equipment use.
• Participate in method validation and assay performance monitoring.
• Handle deviations, changes, and corrective actions.
• Review sample master plans and stability protocols.
• Support routine housekeeping, lab walkthroughs, audits, and tours.
• Respond to regulatory inspections and observations.
• Support safety training and general procedures for lab and equipment use.
• Manage investments and costs.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Proven analytical experience including familiarity with HPLC, GC, CE, iCE, MPR, PCR, ELISA, etc.
• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Proven history working within a biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in a laboratory setting.
