Senior Scientist - Cell Therapy

Hobson Prior are searching for a thorough, self-organised Senior Scientist who is an expert in Cell Therapy to join a brilliant organisation on a permanent basis. Our client assists early-stage research organisations with efficient process development and aims to reach organisations globally in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for acting as expert in Cell- and ex vivo Gene-Therapy.
• You will be responsible for analysing data and preparing reports.
• Writing, implementing, reviewing and maintaining manufacturing-related documentation in alignment with applicable GxP guidelines.
• You will provide hands-on work in the development laboratory to support process development of Cell Therapy products.
• Contribute to manufacturing of Cell- and Gene Therapy products for clinical trials.

Key Skills:

• Good record-keeping skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will require an Msc in a relevant field (biomedicine, biotechnology or similar).
• You will be experienced in writing GMP documents such as SOPS.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the field of Cell Therapy; in a GMP environment (mandatory).
• Strong experience in working with cells in a cleanroom; in a GMP environment (mandatory).
• Experience with complex Cell Therapy products based on for example (CAR)T-cells, NK-cells, dendric cells or mesenchymal stromal cells.
• Hands on experience with platforms, processes and systems used in the Cell Therapy field.
• Hands on experience with and deep knowledge of GMP standards.
