Senior Scientific Writer

Hobson Prior are working alongside a fantastic biotech organisation who are currently looking for an individual to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is for a Senior Scientific Writer to work for a company who are focused on revolutionising cancer solutions with remedies.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will uphold scientific knowledge of the company's viral products and the parent wild type virus or research pertinent to nonclinical development and present pertinent guidelines and regulations.
• Support the evaluation of regulatory proposals and replies to regulatory bodies such as FDA, MHRA, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in planning, drafting, editing, and evaluating high-quality non-clinical reports to assist in regulatory proposals.
• To handle the compilation and approval of research, developmental and nonclinical connected reports and documents, you will work together with external collaborators and CROs.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to an advanced degree level in a virology, immunology or similar discipline.
• Technical writing skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and any other document management system.
• Know-how of ICG and US regulatory needs would be ideal.
• A background in virology or gene therapy with exhaustive knowledge of herpes simplex virus would be beneficial.
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in biotechnological or pharmaceutical scientific writing.
• Prior involvement in contributing to regulatory proposals or publications in high-impact scientific journals.
• Comprehension of biotechnological analytical and process practices would be beneficial for the role, such as chromatography, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, cell-based assays, PCR.
