Senior Medical Advisor

Hobson Prior is currently seeking a Senior Medical Advisor to join a Global Pharmaceutical company who specialise in providing innovative products and services worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure UK involvement in European growth plans and lifecycle management.
• Be the main point of contact for products, patient treatment trends and scientific activities within disease areas.
• Evaluate promotional materials to confirm that all claims are supported by scientific data and accessible in a precise, fair and balanced way, making sure compliance with SOPs as well as legal and ethical standards.
• Continuously work towards progressing own specialised skills and knowledge in order to make a contribution to the growth of individual and team performance.
• Maintaining the UK Pharmacovigilance System.

Key Skills:

• Computer literate and Advanced user of Microsoft Office software products.
• Knowledge of statistical methods.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sometimes under high pressure situations.
• Outstanding and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to write scientific publications.
• Knowledge of pricing issues and experience of contribution to HTA dossiers.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK and EU regulations e.g. MHRA, GVP.
• Previous experience of leading and managing teams.

Requirements:

• Degree educated with higher honours.
• GMC Registered Physician or UK-registered pharmacist.
• One-year experience as an ABPI final signatory.
• Capability to travel domestically.
