Senior Legal Counsel (TechOps/IT)

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (TechOps/IT) to join a brilliant pharma organisation on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on developing, in/out-licensing and commercialisation of novel pharmaceutical products.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will be accountable for all legal facets of the technical operations, for example: the evaluation and deliberation of pharmaceutical-linked manufacturing contracts, which involves CMO and supply agreements.
• Guide TechOps-linked legal projects and transactions, which involves the supply facets of M&A and business development and licensing.
• Assist with the general counsel, the head of legal and compliance in multiple legal concerns.
• Deliberate multifaceted agreements.
• Handle disputes and litigation as well as support management decisions by offering solid legal advice and risk assessments.
• You will advise on technology and digitalisation linked agreements in compliance with data privacy laws.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a MS degree in Law, ideally with a Swiss or European Bar examination.
• At least 6-10 years of experience in a global law and/or industry setting.
• Deliberation abilities.
• Pertinent work experience and knowledge.
