Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for a Biologics Technical Operations Specialist role. This position focuses on downstream process development and platform process development for antibody drug conjugates. The role also involves purification and conjugation of naked mAb, bsAb, Fc-fusion, and recombinant proteins. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a fully integrated Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) offering state-of-the-art services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead downstream process development and platform process development for antibody drug conjugates.
• Lead purification and conjugation of naked mAb, bsAb, Fc-fusion, and recombinant proteins.
• Scale-up and tech transfer for pilot scale and clinical material production of mAb derivatives and ADC.
• Write and review batch records, study protocols, and development reports.
• Communicate with clients regarding process development strategy and interim developed results.
• Design virus clearance study, review protocols, and summarize results for mAb derivatives and ADC.
• Perform tech transfer from client facilities to GMP facilities.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in DSP development of ADC.
• Understanding of lab scale to pilot scale purification of ADC.
• Experience in tech transfer from process development to clinical material production.
• Experience in virus clearance study.
• Knowledge and skills in managing projects, programs, and/or clients in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Skills and knowledge directly related to protein purification including column work and filter work.
