Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Downstream Bioprocess Scientist for a permanent role in Cork. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the science behind downstream cell culture processes and the impact of equipment on the process. They will also be familiar with the integration of process parameter requirements with electronic documentation to ensure all regulatory, compliance, and process monitoring needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and apply the science of downstream cell culture processes.
• Understand the purpose and capability of each downstream unit operation.
• Understand the impact of equipment on the process.
• Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and process monitoring needs are captured in manufacturing electronic documentation.

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.
• Extensive experience in the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
