Hobson Prior are currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Trials Associate to join a globally competitive pharmaceutical company whose focus is to develop pharmaceuticals that are beneficial in keeping people healthy in their daily lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise and/or complete Trial Master Files (TMF) and Sponsor Study Files (OSF) according to European and US regulations as well as commercial standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support the Clinical Operations Manager in the organisation of logistical parts of assigned clinical trials.
• Act as a fundamental point of contact & support for the clinical trial team. Providing supervisory oversight to other CTA(s) and take a lead role in ensuring that all trials are sufficiently documented, and that SOPs reflect current and best practice.
• Arranging and partaking in the organisation of Investigator Meetings & Study Team Meetings (internal and external), preparing agendas.
• Creating and sustaining study contact lists and relevant information databases for study team.
• Contributing to the progress and maintenance of company SOPs and ensuring input to process improvements.

Key Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Previous supervisory/mentoring experience
• Ability for working independently as well as in a team environment under time and resource pressures.
• Meticulous, systematic and detailed oriented.
• Capability and prior involvement with bringing in new electronic systems

Requirements:

• Established and significant experience of working as a CTA and/or Document Manager in Clinical Research or the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• University degree or equivalent in health sciences, nursing or pharmacy or related field is preferable.
• Familiarity of the Pharmaceutical Industry/Clinical trial process (ideally early phase).
