Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Clinical Operations Manager to oversee and manage all operational activities related to clinical trials. In this role, you will lead the operations team, ensure trial timelines and quality standards are met, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful trial outcomes. This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide input on trial planning and ensure smooth operational performance.
• Report trial progress and operational updates to the Clinical Trial Team leader.
• Lead trial-related activities and collaborate with other departments.
• Supervise and guide the external operations team, setting clear priorities.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Oversee the selection and management of external service providers and clinical research organizations.
• Manage clinical trial supplies, including forecasting, ordering, and distribution.
• Monitor trial activities, report critical issues, and track key performance indicators.
• Ensure proper training for the operations team and external partners.
• Maintain and review the Study Master File for audit readiness.
• Participate in investigator meetings and site visits as needed.
• Support internal audits and address any findings related to operational activities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex clinical trials and global teams.
• Strong leadership skills in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
• Familiarity with selecting and managing external service providers.
• Knowledge of electronic data systems like eTMF and CTMS.
• Excellent understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel internationally if required.
• Strong project management, risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and effective under pressure.
